This unit covers the process to determine the causes of fatigue, strategies to manage fatigue, steps in considering organisational decision making processes to implement fatigue policies and procedures and to provide a safe workplace while monitoring and managing workers fatigue.
Some organisations will already have fatigue management as part of their organisational policies and procedures while others may be just starting the entire process. This unit does not cover the NHVAS requirements for a person classified as a Scheduler under legislation to comply with standard (SFM) and basic (BFM) and advanced fatigue management for the heavy vehicle transport industry.
Upon the completion of the course you will be issued a Statement of Attainment (SOA) with the course code TLIF4064A – Manage Fatigue Policy & Procedures. This is a nationally recognised qualification and is required for NHVAS accreditations.
